Anthem recently transitioned their life and disability (L&D) business to StanCorp Financial Group (The Standard), and, as a result, they are migrating L&D groups to a single enrollment and billing system called Compassi. If you received a notice from Anthem regarding this change, action may be required on your part.
Groups with January renewal dates will be moved to the new system in October
Anthem’s notice outlines the changes and migration steps based on your in-force coverage. Please review the letters and contact Anthem with any questions.
All groups will need to sign and return a form to Anthem
Anthem included the client form with their letter. If you sign and return this form to Anthem, you will be given access to the Compassi self-service and MyOnlineBill payment tools. You will not be able to use self-service or online bill pay if Anthem doesn’t have the signed form by your migration start date.
Please reach out to your ARC client advisor to fill out your form. They will need to add some information before you submit it to Anthem.
Between August 2 and October 2, groups will need to submit any L&D enrollment changes via fax or email
During this time, you will not be able to submit changes through EmployerAccess or Compassi. Instead, you will need to fax or email the changes to the Compassi team:
- Groups in CT, GA, ME, NH, NY, or VA: Fax 614-433-8849 or email EastRegion@anthem.com
- Groups in IN, KY, MO, OH, or WI: Fax 614-433-8302 or email CentralRegion@anthem.com
- Groups in CA, CO, or NV: Fax 614-880-3553 or email WestRegion@anthem.com
You will be able to use Compassi for your enrollment changes on October 2, 2023.
Groups can start paying their bills online in mid-September
Groups that sign up for online bill payment through MyOnlineBill will be able to pay their October bill online starting about September 15, 2023.
