IMPORTANT: Updates to Short-Term Limited Duration Insurance Coming September 2024
The Departments recently announced a change to the federal definition of Short-Term, Limited-Duration Insurance (STLDI) that imposes nationwide plan duration limits to no more than three months and the maximum coverage period to no more than four months.
STLDI policies currently in effect, or that are sold and issued before September 1, 2024, are not affected by this new rule.
