Seniors Alerted to Be Aware of DNA Testing Scam

The Ohio Department of Insurance and the Ohio Department of Aging are warning Ohioans of a new scam targeting seniors, which involves collecting consumers’ person information under the pretense of DNA testing to screen for life-threatening illnesses.

To protect yourself and loved ones from this scam, be sure to avoid giving out personal information to anyone claiming to offer genetic testing.
